An activist group, rescue organization, and doggie spa all in one!
The Vanderpump Dog Foundation is a 501c3 dog rescue organization which was founded in 2016. It is based in Los Angeles, California. Founders Lisa Vanderpump and Ken Todd began working to stop the Yulin Dog Meat Festival after they discovered the horrific images of slaughter and abuse of the animals. Along with Dr. John Sessa, Vanderpump Dogs has launched the Stop Yulin Forever campaign. This campaign has spread awareness about the horrors of the Yulin Festival and encourages a more humane treatment of animals.
Founder Lisa Vanderpump on Yulin to Daily Mail:
"...we need people to be aware, and for Americans to say, 'China, we see what you're doing and this is not OK. We know it would be a bipartisan issue.'"

Vanderpump Rescue Center
In addition to spreading awareness about Yulin, the Vanderpump team also aims to tackle the issue of dog overpopulation in Los Angeles. At the rescue center in West Hollywood, the Vanderpump Dog Foundation focuses on rescuing, rehabilitating, and re-homing the dogs. The organization hopes to spread the message of #AdoptDontShop. Unfortunately, many dogs are quickly euthanized due to overpopulation, and most shelters are at full capacity. The Foundation brings adoptable dogs to the rescue center, where they are cared for and fostered by volunteers until they find their forever home.
